Our 2011 Car of the Year…

We put more than 70 cars to the test in 2011.

Most were very, very good.

It was a tough task coming up with six finalists and then an overall winner.

You can imagine how good a car has to be to come out on top of that amount of competition, but in the end it was actually an easy decision.

The Kia Optima Platinum was such a stand-out that it simply ticked all the boxes like no other vehicle.

It’s well built, thoughtfully designed, comfortable, economical, practical and well priced – that is why it took out the Behind the Wheel Car of the Year for 2011.
