We have been monitoring the impending arrival of Infiniti cars into Australia and it looks like for good reason too.
The sport/luxury arm of Nissan, which did have a small dalliance into Australia about 20 years ago, has just been named the number one car brand for 2012.
Total Car Score, a US based automotive ranking and comparison website, undertook a study into vehicle brand strengths and Infiniti came out on top.
Infiniti vehicles averaged a Total Car Score of 82.09 ahead of traditional automotive powerhouses Mercedes-Benz, Buick, Audi and Lexus.
Infiniti Americas Vice President Ben Poore has welcomed the recognition.
“Ranking first in the Total Car Score Top 10 is validation of our efforts to produce a total line-up of Inspired Performance vehicles, not just one or two great cars.”
Infiniti will officially commence sales in Australia in August but in the meantime you can find out more at www.infiniticars.com.au.
