2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class wins more accolades - this time the C-Class has won the BusinessCar top award.

Another day, another award for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, with the mid-sized saloon being named BusinessCar Magazine’s Car of the Year in the UK.

The award comes just a day after the hybrid C-Class was named Best Company Car for 2015 in the UK at the 2015 SME Company Car of the Year Awards.

In the latest award, decided upon by the readers of BusinessCar magazine and BusinessCar.co.uk, the Mercedes-Benz C-class took top spot ahead of the new Peugeot 308.

Paul Barker, BusinessCar editor, said the C-Class is a worthy winner.

“The new C-class has propelled Mercedes-Benz into the middle of the fiercely competitive premium upper medium saloon marketplace and massive improvements over the previous model have meant the company has picked up its first ever Business Car of the Year prize,”

Other BusinessCar awards presented overnight include;

Manufacturer of the Year - BMW

Green car of the Year – BMW i3

Best Crossover – Hyundai ix35

Best Premium Small 4×4 – Range Rover Evoque

Best Large 4×4 – BMW X5

Mainstream Supermini of the Year – Ford Fiesta

Premium Lower Medium – Audi A3

Best Executive Car – BMW 5 Series

Best Luxury Car – Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Best Mainstream Lower Medium – Volkswagen Golf

Mr Barker said the competition for this year’s awards was particularly fierce and that’s a good thing for business.

“The corporate market is extremely competitive with some incredible products available to help businesses carry out their work.”

“Winners at this year’s awards should be proud that BusinessCar’s readers have picked them out as the best in the industry.”
