2017 Toyota Yaris to debut in Geneva

Toyota to show updated Yaris and sporty model too…

It may not be the first model you think of when sports cars are mentioned, however Toyota reckons the Yaris can be an exciting model.

The normally sedate city car is about to debut officially in sporty GRMN form.

Designed primarily for Europe, and probably unlikely to land in Australia, the sporty version of the Toyota Yaris will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Toyota telling us the GRMN variant is inspired and influenced by the brands return to the World Rally Championship and will be powered by a 156kW supercharged 1.8 litre engine.

Something we will definitely see in Australia is the regular, and updated, Toyota Yaris.

The refreshed 2017 Toyota Yaris has also been confirmed for a debut in Geneva and Toyota is promising an upgraded Yaris with a more dynamic exterior design and upgraded interior finish.
