2018 Hyundai Accent to debut today

All-new Hyundai Accent on the way…

The somewhat ‘ugly duckling’ in the Hyundai range in 2017 is about to get a completely new shape with this new-generation Hyundai Accent in the pipeline.

Set to debut at the Canadian International Auto Show today, the new Accent shares similar design cues to its larger sibling, the recently released new Hyundai Elantra.

Not just better looking, Australian buyers of the 2018 Hyundai Accent can also look forward to a larger vehicle.

Hyundai telling us the new-generation model is 15mm longer and 29mm wider than the current model.

While we can expect Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well.

It should also be more fuel efficient too, reports say the Accent engine has been tweaked to provide a 7% increase in efficiency.

The unveiling of the new-generation Hyundai Accent comes as Australians continue to buy the soon to be superseded model.

VFACTS sales data shows the Accent enjoyed a hefty 61.9% increase in deliveries in January with just less than 1100 local customer deliveries.

We will bring you more details on the new-gen Hyundai Accent in our Hyundai Accent News section.
