2018 update for Suzuki TU250X

Suzuki takes café racer back to the future

Classic is the word that comes to mind when checking out the Suzuki TU250X, and now the popular offering is even more retro for 2018.

The small-bore café racer has been in for a 2018 upgrade and Suzuki has certainly done a good job of making the TV250X look even more ‘modern retro’ than before.

While, as you can see in the pics above and below, there’s no shortage of chrome work on the updated offering.

The 2018 Suzuki TU250X boasts:

  • Classic retro styling
  • Chromed front and rear wheels
  • Chromed headlight case
  • Chromed speedometer cover
  • Chromed tail light housing
  • Chromed exhaust system

Suzuki though has stopped short of any making mechanical changes to the offering for 2018, power still comes from the Japanese manufacturers tried and tested 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-oil cooled SOHC engine.

With a 120 litre fuel tank and five-speed manual transmission, Suzuki say the 2018 version is ideal for the urban rider, especially one who loves a classic look and feel.
