Sunroof fault sees handful of Bentley Continental cars recalled

If you have a Bentley Continental Flying Spur in the garage you might be about to receive a recall notice from Bentley Motors.

A recall of Bentley Continental Flying Spur vehicles sold in Australia between the 25th of April 2007 and the 31st of December 2008 has been initiated after a possible issue with the sunroof was identified.

The Bentley recall is being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

The ACCC recall notice advising that it is possible that the solar glass panel is insufficiently bonded to the sliding sunroof frame.

What are the hazards?

If the solar glass panel becomes loose when the vehicle is moving, this may endanger road users behind the vehicle, posing a potential accident hazard.

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified immediately, in writing, by Bentley Motors Ltd dealer network.
