New car sales experience in Geelong
There’s certainly been a push towards alternate car sales strategies in recent times, especially finding ways of getting the cars more conventionally to the people.
What better way than to have a presence in a busy place like a Westfield Shopping Centre?
That is exactly the opportunity Victorian car dealer group Kings Cars and Mitsubishi Motors have taken in Geelong.
They’ve teamed up to open an interactive showroom in Westfield Geelong and say it’s an entirely new concept, and that’s beyond just the unusual location.
The showroom allows prospective customers the opportunity to research the Mitsubishi range, experience the vehicles in Virtual Reality and then take a car for a test drive.
And while sales staff will be on hand, they aren’t paid on commission – they tell us this should make for a more relaxed and comfortable experience.
Mitsubishi Motors boss John Signoriello says the concept is very exciting.
“It’s a new direction which will give us the opportunity to explore new ways of interacting with Customers.
“This pilot store will allow us to take the Mitsubishi brand to the people and give us access to a wider more diverse audience in a more relaxed retail environment.
And Mr Signoriello tells us the concept could be taken to other regions if it proves successful.
“We aim to incorporate and test new technology, studying new operational models and use this experience to develop our existing and future network to better serve our Customers.”
