
We’ve been covering the development of this interesting new vehicle manufacturer, Bollinger Motors, now comes news that their first product looks set to be a commercial success.
The Bollinger B1 is a fully-electric sport utility truck that is not much to look at but could be enormously capable.

Set to be offered in two-door and four-door body styles, the B1 features electric motors on each wheel that give up to a total maximum output for the vehicle of 269kW and 640Nm.
Now comes news that Bollinger Motors has surpassed 10,000 reservations for the offering.
The Bollinger B1 was only unveiled in July (details here) and Bollinger Motors tell us the mark was eclipsed in 60 days via the bollingermotors.com website.
The company telling us the pre-orders represent hundreds of millions of dollars in potential revenue for them.
“I can’t believe we’ve reached this number of reservations so quickly. – Bollinger CEO, Robert Bollinger.
“I think we really built something unique. A lot of people from all over the US and the world want a tough, capable truck that’s also electric and we can’t wait to start production.”
At this stage pricing hasn’t been confirmed for the Bollinger B1, and reservations are being accepted without having to put any actual money down.
