FuelSense update for Allison Transmissions

FuelSense update for Allison Transmissions

FuelSense 2.0 helps cut fuel use by an extra 6%…

Operators running Allison Transmissions with FuelSense software can now upgrade that software and benefit from fuel savings of up to an additional 6%.

FuelSense 2.0 not only promises to help you cut running costs, Allison tell us the software update also helps provide better performance.

They say the new FuelSense 2.0 technology uses DynActive Shifting to provide an infinitely variable combination of shift points and uses a learning algorithm to continuously find the ideal balance of fuel economy and performance.

Available across three different packages - FuelSense 2.0, FuelSense 2.0 Plus and FuelSense 2.0 Max, marketing boss at Allison Transmission, Heidi Schutte, says it makes sense for operators to invest in the tech.

“FuelSense 2.0 further reduces fuel consumption in all segments of a vehicle’s duty-cycle and offers increased specification flexibility and delivers the best economic value to our customers.”

FuelSense 2.0 packages will be available from the middle of next month.
