Spy shots preview changes
One of Australia’s best-selling Subaru models is in for a new look and feel with these spy shots showing the outline of the all-new 2019 Subaru Forester.
The current Forester has been around since 2014 and is starting to look it, especially compared to the fresher Subaru offerings such as the new Impreza and XV.

But this new Subaru Forester is still a way off, Automotive News (who first published the spy shots) report that the new car is unlikely to be officially unveiled until the new year.
It will be mid-2018 at least before the vehicle lands in dealerships.
Speaking of the new Impreza and XV, the new generation Forester will share the same platform as it’s Subaru siblings.
The new platform, showing its versatility, will also be utilised for a new Subaru seven-seat SUV, though that is something we are unlikely to see in right-hand drive and thus unlikely for Australia.

In Australia in July, VFACTS data shows Subaru sold 847 Foresters and that accounted for just over 6% of the total medium SUV market.
Across the first seven months of 2017, Subaru Forester sales were down 3.7%.
The spy shots of the new Forester show a familiar side profile to the current model, but radically different front styling.
We’ll keep you updated with further details on the new Forester as they come to hand in our Subaru News section.
