That total represents a full 5.3% lift on the same period in 2016.

It was the Volkswagen Amarok that proved the sales star for Volkswagen with a solid 8.3% lift in sales.

The T model, including Transporter, saw a 5.8% increase and Caddy sales increased a healthy 7.6%.

The only Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles model that didn’t find additional customers was the Crafter – it receded by 8.9%, though Volkswagen says the changeover to the new-gen model is to blame for the reduction.
