Scania Driver Competitions return to Australia

Scania is bringing its search for the best truck and bus drivers to Australia.

The Swedish truck manufacturer is running its global driver competition again this year and Australian drivers will get a chance to show off their skills across a number of disciplines.

Scania Driver Competitions return to AustraliaWith prizes worth thousands of dollars on offer, the initial round of the competition is a knowledge-based online test and then the national final will be held in Melbourne in October.

The Scania Driver Competitions are open to drivers with an MC licence, or HR for bus and coach drivers.

Scania Australia boss Roger McCarthy says it’s a great program to get involved in.

“The Scania Driver Competitions have become a global opportunity for truck drivers to demonstrate their expertise, knowledge and professionalism,”

“Scania believes the driver is the transport operator’s single most important asset in delivering Total Operating Economy,”
