Scania to unveil new-generation truck next month

There’s a new generation of Scania trucks on the way with the first major public reveal set to take place next month.

Scania has just confirmed it will launch the first of its new models, a truck designed for the European long-haul segment, on the 23rd of August.

While we still haven’t been given a look at the outside of the new model, Scania has released the above image showing a new-look dashboard.

In releasing the photo and confirming the August 23 unveil date, Christian Levin, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing at Scania says the new model range coincides with the brands 125th anniversary.

“We are now in the final phase of preparing the sales and service network as well as the European production units.

“At the moment, we are not providing any further information about the many innovations, which are in store.”

“But I am convinced that what Scania will unveil on 23 August will be talked about – both inside and outside the industry.”

We will keep you updated.
