Toyota has given us a first official look at the cabin of its next new model to launch in Australia, the Toyota CH-R.
Arriving early next year and slotting in between the Toyota Corolla and the RAV4 in the local line-up, the CH-R will be powered by a 1.2 litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 85kW/185Nm.
While front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive will be on offer in the new Toyota crossover.
But the big story today is a look at this new cabin. Toyota tell us the CH-R will come standard with the 6.1” infotainment screen (as shown), while other cabin highlights include what Toyota says is a new “sensual tech” design concept.
Toyota telling us this combines high-tech functionality with a sensual and fashionable style in a cabin that is airy and expansive.
Meantime, Toyota has also confirmed several safety systems for the 2017 Toyota CH-R.
The model is set to boast a pre-collision system with autonomous braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert with steering control, automatic high beam and a reverse camera.
We will keep you updated on Australian availability, pricing and specification details as they come to hand over coming months.
