Megane now offer something for everyone…
Renault has expanded their range releasing a wagon and sedan version of their Renault Megane launched last year.
The Megane sedan will come in two variants while the wagon will be available in three including the Renault Sport inspired GT.
Hill Start Assist, stability control, electronic park brake, front and rear parking sensors, rear view camera, a 7” touchscreen with R-LINK 2 multimedia system and sat nav, eight speaker audio, automatic dusk-sensing headlights and automatic rain-sensing wipers come standard across the range.
All new specifications will reflect the drivetrain spec levels of the Megane hatch with a seven-speed Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) and a 1.2 litre turbo engine or a 1.6 litre turbo in the GT wagon.
The wagon has the storage advantage of 580 litres in the back while the sedan is no slouch either with a boot capacity of 5.3 litres.
Pricing for new 2017 Renault Megane variants:
- $28,490 Zen wagon
- $27,490 Zen sedan
- $31,990 Intens sedan
- $33,490 GT-Line wagon
- $39,490 GT wagon
Renault Australia Managing Director Justin Hocevar says offering more variants in the model range will help them stay competitive in a tough compact car segment.
“Renault now has an even more practical vehicle for families with an active lifestyle, or for business users who need significant carrying capacity as well as the comfort, safety and performance of a passenger car.”
